Bonfire Night! What’s the Point?

Hello readers of the Rattan Chairs blog, I hope you are having a good day! If you have any sort of joy about you then you will be happier than me yesterday. It was Bonfire Night yesterday and I have a real strong hatred for Bonfire night.

I honestly cannot see a point in it at all. I went to a bonfire last night and I was completely disappointed. It cost me £2.50 to get in and I know this isn’t a lot of money but I still would rather not waste it. You only really pay for the fire which you can’t even get that close too as you will end up going home smelling of smoke and it won’t come out of your clothes.

As well as that once you have seen the first few fireworks they all look the same, and it is just 10-15 minutes of loud bangs which are pretty pointless. As well these loud bangs absolutely petrify animals like cats and dogs and I know this as both my cat and dog were running around the house trying to hide from the noises.

Bonfire night is also known as Guy Fawkes Night when he tried to blow up the houses of parliament. Therefore this means that we are basically all celebrated an act of terrorism that happened in 1605, which I find a bit weird.

However this is probably just my cynical self, trying to point out things I don’t like about Bonfire Night and trying to exaggerate these problems. To stop me complaining about these problems next year I am just going to sit on my Havana Rattan Stool with Backrest with every single window shut to try and reduce as much noise as possible. Anyway I hope that you enjoyed Bonfire Night and you enjoying reading this blog, come back soon for the next blog.
